I get an error or the app crashes when trying to add a caregiver

If the app shows an error or behaves unexpectedly when adding a caregiver:

Common fixes:
1. Make sure you are connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
2. Update CareClinic to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play
3. Close the app completely and reopen it before trying again
4. If you see "Session Expired", log out and log back in

If you see "This caregiver already exists":
The person may already be in your Care Team as a pending or declined member. Go to More → My Care Team and check all entries including any that say Pending or Declined.

If you see "The specified user does not exist":
The username you entered does not match any CareClinic account. Double-check the spelling or try adding them by email instead.

If no error message appears but nothing happens:
1. Check your internet connection
2. Wait a few seconds — the invite may be processing
3. Go back to My Care Team and check if the caregiver was actually added

If the issue persists, contact support with details about what you were doing when the error occurred.
