I was charged twice or see a duplicate payment. What should I do?
Duplicate charges can happen for a few reasons:
1. Two separate accounts: If you signed up once with Apple Sign-In and once with your regular email, each account may have its own subscription. Contact us at support@careclinic.io and we will find both accounts, cancel the extra, and help you get a refund for the duplicate.
2. App store billing overlap: If you switched between monthly and annual plans, or between iOS and Android, there may be a brief overlap. Check your active subscriptions:
- iOS: iPhone Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play > Profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions
Cancel any duplicate entries you see there.
3. Request a refund for the duplicate charge:
- iOS: Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and select the duplicate charge
- Android: Open Google Play > Account > Purchase history > select the charge > Request a refund
