The QR code expired before my caregiver could scan it
CareClinic QR codes expire after 15 minutes for security purposes. If the QR code has expired:
1. Open My Care Team and tap the QR code icon again to generate a fresh code
2. Have your caregiver scan it immediately while it is still active
3. You can see the countdown timer below the QR code showing how much time is left
Important: Do not screenshot the QR code to send later as it will likely expire before the recipient can use it. Instead, use the Share button on the QR code screen to send the link directly, or add the caregiver manually by their email or username.
If you need to add someone who is not physically nearby, the manual email or username method is more reliable than QR codes.
