How can I view my daily timeline in chronological order instead of by group?
On the Timeline Screen, tap the filter icon in the top right corner. From the options that appear, select "Chronological Timeline" instead of "Grouped Timeline" to see your daily timeline in desc chronological order rather than grouped by type.
